I remodeled my study in cherry cabinets, 3/4" cherry ply. The first half of the project took me two years to wrestle all that plywood across my table saw. Then I switched to a Festool plunge saw with a straightline guide, and did the other half of the room in three months. Much better accuracy, much more safely, and way quicker.
